Who We Are
The do good things Foundation is a venture-philanthropic initiative that partners with charitable organizations committed to improving education, eliminating poverty, curing illness, and investing in moral compass development. We are a nondenominational and non-partisan organization that does not advocate any specific political, religious or other views with its work.
We believe that the word “earn” is part of the word “learn” for a reason. That’s why our logo is influenced by the Chinese proverb, “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.” We work to teach charities how to “do” instead of “doing” for them. When partnering with us, charities not only get their important projects funded but also the business savvy to better succeed.
How it Works
Our vision is to partner with charities that commit to establishing and achieving measurable results. We work closely with each charity to develop an individualized business plan that establishes a timeline and a set of actions to achieve the charity’s specified goal. Do good things gives a portion of the agreed upon donation each time a charity completes a task on their to-do list. This process gives charities the business insight on how to better create a sustainable organization so they can better succeed in the future.
We don’t want to try, or hope, or wish to do good things. We want to actually do good things that make a difference.
